- 1 kg boneless chicken
- For Aroma Yogurt Sauce:
- 3 small chopped green chilli
- 4 tbsp coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 4 tbsp butter for sauce frying
- Orange Yogurt:
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 pinch Orange food color
- For Aroma Chicken Curry:
- 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes
- 4 tbsp butter
- Chicken
- Aroma Yogurt Sauce
- Yogurt Sauce
- For Aroma Rice:
- 2 glass Uncooked Rice soaked in water
- Water for boiling rice
- 2 Cloves (Laung)
- 2 small cinnamon (Darchini)
- 3 green cardamom (Hari Elaichi)
- For Layering:
- 4 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 rice
- 1/2 Aroma Chicken Curry
- Dried brown onions for garnish
Instructions to make to make Aroma Chicken Biryani 🥘
- In a small pot add butter and Aroma yogurt sauce fry it for few minutes about 2-5 on low flame. Be careful not to burn. Now take it out in a bowl and let it cool. Add chicken and coat it well and set aside for 10 minutes. In another stove boil water with spice. Now in a separate bowl add yogurt and orange food color mix it well.
- 1st picture is of yogurt sauce. 2nd picture is of preparing yogurt chicken curry. In a wok add butter now add tomatoes and cook well for 2 minutes.
- Now add Aroma yogurt chicken and cook on low to medium flame until chicken has become white. Then add yogurt sauce and mix it.
- Now cover the lid and cook the Aroma Chicken curry on low flame until chicken is properly cooked and curry is made. On the other side when water is boiling add rice and let it cook properly. Then strain the water when rice is cooked.
- Now when chicken curry is made. Set it aside. On the other side, in the rice pot add oil and water then start layering. 1st will be rice then Chicken curry and then rice again until all are placed.
- Keep layering until rice and chicken are finished.
- Now add a pinch of orange food color and dried brown onions. Let it cook on low flame until rice becomes larger in size. Mix it well.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
