- 2 green chillies
- 2 tbsp fresh coconut
- 1 tsp. Splited black gram
- 1 tbsp peanuts
- 2 tsp. Curry powder
- 1/8 tsp asofoetisa
- 1/2 tsp. Garam masala
- 1/8 tsp. Fenugreek
- 1 tbsp. Curd
- 1 cinemon stick
- as required Carrot cucumber tomato cashewnuts peanuts rice coriander for garnishing
- 12 pc. Cloves
Steps to make to make Tricolour Rice
- Wash and cook 80%rice and divide in 3 parts.
- Now take tomato red chilli powder in a mixie jar and churn. Heat oil in a pan add fenugreek and peanuts saute and add tomato puree salt and curry powder.Add 2-3 tsp water mix well and add cooked one part rice mix well and take in a plate.
- Now remove brown part of fresh coconut and grate. Heat oil add split black gram and grated coconut saute, add boiled rice garam masala and curd mix well cook for 2-3 mins and take in a plate.
- Take mint corriender green chilli and ginger wash and churn make a puree. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds,asofoetida,curry patta and green puree. Saute properly and add 3rd part of rice. Add curry powder mix well and cook for 2-3 mins. Turn off flame.
- Now arrange all three part of rice put cinammon stick, cloves as chakra in white part. Garnish with grated coconut in white, cucumber in green part and carrot in orange part.
- Tasty delicious traditional South Indian rice is ready to serve.Garnish with cashewnuts peanut coconut tomato carrot cucumber and raw rice.
